The primary duties and responsibilities of the Human Resources Generalist consist of but are not limited to:

· Maintains confidentiality at all times to include personal records, audits and surveys.

· Enters all employee information into ADP system

· Assists with the sourcing of candidates for opened positions

· Works with management to ensure accuracy of Job Descriptions

· Responsible for accuracy of information in ADP system

· Employee Relations work

· Process paperwork necessary in hiring and termination of employment

· Partners with the management team to provide generalist support

· Facilitates trainings for the plant

· Coordination and processing of New Hire Paperwork- offer letter, background and drug screen

· Responsible for day one preparation activities; ordering name tags, smocks, business cards etc.

· Responsible for employee on-boarding

· Manages verification of previous employee requests

· Assist employees with benefit information and paperwork

· Responsible for supplying employment verification information as requested

· Handling unemployment paperwork claims if necessary

· Partners with safety coordinator in filing of workers compensation claims; liaison between employee and workers compensation insurance company as needed

· Backup for reception

· Administrative tasks as assigned

· Responsible for the management and continued upkeep of company org charts

· High school diploma or GED required

· Some post-secondary education preferred

· 5+ years of experience working in Human Resources

· Working knowledge of Human Resources employment laws

· Exceptional knowledge ADP and Microsoft Office


· Receive verbal and written instructions

· Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently

· Strong attention to detail is required

· Ability to work independently

· Able to maintain a high level of integrity and confidentiality
