Performs the routine aspects of a comprehensive and complex benefit program. Provides benefit information to employees, administers the tuition subsidy program, ensures accurate payments to providers, resolves problem claims, and submits evidence of evidence of health forms to carriers. Administers the Short and Long Term Disability and Life Insurance programs.
Education and Training:
Bachelor’s degree required
Three to five years of progressively more responsible professional employee benefit experience.
Working knowledge of Health/Welfare and Financial Benefits programs.
Ability to independently identify processes in need of improvement.
Manage projects and including the effective implementation of outcomes.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills with system management and staff
Computer skills: Microsoft office, including Access database.
Experience with Benesoft system and Siemens payroll software – proficient in all functions: inquiry, data entry, print jobs, processes, reporting, and data management
