The HR Manager reports directly to the Indianapolis Area Manager. This position will act as a key and active member of the North American human resources team, contributing to and influencing the development of a regional, multi-functional business agenda while providing HR service delivery and consultative support.
The HR Manager will have the following key accountabilities:
HR support to local business managers across multiple sites with particular emphasis is on delivery of activity where face-to-face support or local business context is required
Deploying Company HR processes, projects and identified change programs
At a local level, this role will ensure that the HR delivery model is effective and that all HR processes are consistently delivered
Working with line management and will be focus on sustaining and improving employee relations across the assigned population
Leading efforts to create a positive culture through Employee Engagement, Diversity and Inclusion Initiatives, Rewards and Recognition Execution, and Community Involvement
Coaching line managers in leadership, people management and sensitive or complex HR issues
Ensuring local policies and procedures are in compliance with all state and federal employment laws and regulations Coordinate with regional Centers of Excellence to update policies and guidelines as needed

Qualifications and experience
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business and 6+ years of experience demonstrating increasing responsibility in a Human Resources Generalist role or
Master's degree in Human Resources or Business and 4+ years of experience
Broad knowledge of the HR function and its capability to support business objectives
Well developed customer and relationship management skills, including credibility and influencing skills at senior levels and across functions
