The Human Resource team is looking for an innovative Human Resources Leader to support the organization as a consultative business partner in a challenging and fast-paced environment. To that end, the HR Leader will:
•Provide expert insight into people and organizational issues. Translate business strategies and priorities into appropriate strategies.
•Understand the dynamics of the business and drive human resources practices and processes that will create an effective organization.
•Coach leaders to translate business strategies into organizational effectiveness through assessment, diagnosis, implementation plan and execution.
•Drive and facilitate year-round talent planning.
•Build organizational effectiveness and change leadership capability. Coach leaders on change to involve the right critical stakeholders at the right times, ensuring a best possible employee experience that results in engagement and commitment. Coach and mentor leaders during the business change process.
•Coach leaders on critical competencies/capabilities.
•Partner with senior leaders to identify succession strategies.
•Drive and continually improve HR operating mechanisms in partnership with other HR functional areas.
BS/BA in Management, Human Resources, or OD.
Seven plus years of experience in an HR Business Partner role.
Experience in like industry and/or complex matrixed organization highly desirable.
Field experience in retail and/or franchisee environment is essential.
Competent in all HR functional areas (staffing, compensation, learning & development, etc., and thorough knowledge of applicable employment laws.
Proven Application of Business Acumen.
Knowledge and experience with team dynamics and applying Organizational Effectiveness principles.
Expertise in change leadership and management.
Effective interpersonal skills both in one-on-one situations with all levels, and in facilitating group meetings.
Ability and comfort in handling multiple tasks, changing priorities and focuses.
Collaborative skills applied to influencing peers and other leaders and senior management in making business decisions and to solve complex problems, and resolve disagreements with informed, rational debate.
Excellent judgment applied to balancing tradeoff decisions.
Understand and model the importance of partnering and having the right stakeholders involved in the decision making process.
Initiative, creativity and innovation that drives breakthrough thinking on organizational and people issues.
Strong project management and framing skills in support of cross-functional initiatives.
Actively build relationships with a variety of constituents (Store Managers, Market Managers, Franchise Owner’s, Corporate Office, etc.) and will act as a role model of our culture.
Ability to work a flexible schedule to be available to address issues as necessary (nights, evenings, weekends, and holidays).
