HR Manager, Employee Relations

Lead and advise the HR Employee Relations team toward the accomplishment of department objectives in the areas below:

Manager support

Employee Relations

Benefits

Communication & Training

Employee Events

Business Continuity & Regulatory Compliance

Primary Responsibilities:
Manager Support :
Work closely with EP management team and provide decision support – stay in touch

Foster cooperative relationships with other managers and departments

Work with managers and individual contributors on performance and other issues

Employee Relations :
Recommend improvements to employee morale and retention

Conduct employee survey & analysis (active and exit)

Investigate employee complaints

Oversee employee recognition programs

Oversee AroundEP

Benefit s:
Oversee open enrollment, handle benefits communication & questions

Analyze success of programs and make benefits recommendations

Promote employee benefits to employees – reinforce positives and ensure materials are current

Administer chiropractor program

Manage employee leaves & returns

Manage Worker’s Comp

Communication & Training :
Develop training goals and budget, control expenses and measure success

Oversee coordination of manager training programs

Oversee employee training programs

Coordinate with others to ensure distribution lists (i.e. email groups and SharePoint groups) are current

Participate in planning and coordination of AboutEP and oversee distribution

Employee Events & Fringe Benefits :
Develop employee events goals and budget, control expenses and measure success

Oversee coordination of employee events & giveways all offices

Business Continuity & Regulatory Compliance :
Maintain awareness of and comply with applicable regulations, such as HIPAA, ADAA, OSHA, FMLA, etc.; generate necessary reports

Oversee compliance posters

Maintain relevant documentation, identify and test key processes

Understand effects of new and proposed regulations

Skills

Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in Communications, Human Resources or related discipline

Microsoft Requirements:
Excel: 2+ to 5 years required

Outlook: 2+ to 5 years required

PowerPoint: 2+ to 5 years required

Word: 2+ to 5 years required

Preferred Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication

Leadership/supervisory experience

Positive attitude & team player

Strong analytical abilities

Excellent interpersonal skills

Proven business analysis capability
