The Data Management Analyst, Human Resources - Data, Reporting, and Analytics - for Symphony, is responsible for documenting the “to-be” processes, defining performance metrics, and identifying and resolving process gaps related to data management. The incumbent is also responsible for understanding the data management issues for the Human Resources functions in conjunction with other team members and consultants. The incumbent participates in user acceptance testing with consultants; assists in the creation of documentation and training materials; and delivers training during implementation.
The Data Management Analyst possesses an expert level of understanding of all of the business processes of the function they represent and will also serve as a communications liaison to Health Ministries during the implementation process.
As a Data Management Analyst, Human Resources - Data, Reporting, and Analytics - for Symphony, you are responsible for developing, documenting, and reviewing business process design; identifying opportunities for process improvement and making recommendations that lead to improvements; escalating process and project issues that cannot be resolved to the functional manager; and successfully developing and documenting test cases.
Accountabilities also include monitoring task assignments to ensure they are performed on schedule, within intended scope, and to a defined level of quality and reporting progress on a weekly basis to Data Management Director-Business; providing subject-matter expertise of Ascension Health Ministry processes, policies, and requirements in support of functional area process design testing and implementation; coordinating with other team members to assure consistency and optimization of overall work product; and perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

All commuting will be paid in accordance to Ascension Health's policy. Monday through Thursday work schedule will be on-site in St. Louis and working from home on Friday.
A Bachelor's in Business or related field is required; Master’s degree is preferred. Three to five (3 to 5) plus years of relevant experience in Data Management is required along with excellent planning, organizational, and decision-making skills; and prior experience in ERP implementations or large scale projects is highly desirable. The associate preferably will have a solid understanding of PeopleSoft functionality.
