This position provides support to Recruiting and Human Resource activities. Handles the day to day employment process which includes assisting with selection, interviewing and hiring processes. Coordinates new hire paperwork process. Duties focus on clerical assistance and customer service.

Associates degree in Business, Human Resource Management or similar study preferred.
Combination of experience, education or training that would provide the level of knowledge of an Associate’s degree, may substitute for the degree.
Two years recent experience in recruiting preferred.
Previous experience in business-related job preferred, HR law and policies.

Strong computer knowledge required. Proficiency in Word, Excel and Power-point required.

Ability to obtain, compile, analyze, and report information.
ACCOUNTABILITIES AND ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Assist applicants by answering applicant questions regarding open positions and job status.
Review applicants and assist managers in the hiring process.
Onboard new hires, ensuring the proper paperwork is completed and processed in a timely manner.
Administer and ensure compliance of all state and federal requirements at hiring of new employees and contracted employees.
Follow-up with related clerical aspects of employment, such as completing of health, employment, and other related forms, notifying the department of employee’s start date, etc.
Assists department in carrying out various human resources programs and procedures for all employees.
Ensures excellent customer service with all applicants and inquiries.
Assist in developing and implementing new hire process.
Attends Job/Career Fairs assisting and supporting recruiters in the marketing of Canyon Healthcare.
Maintains current knowledge and ensures compliance of employment functions with relevant policies and procedures.
Must have regular, reliable, predictable attendance in performance of essential job functions.
