Position Purpose/Objective:
The HR Specialist will be responsible for some or all of the following areas: staffing, training, benefits, and human resources information systems (HRIS). Responsible for communicating and providing support and guidance on human resources policies, procedures, programs, and initiatives with internal customers.
Area of Expertise:
Design, development, and administration of Human Resource programs and related activities in one or more of the following functions: Benefits, Compensation, Employee Relations, Recruitment, or Special Programs.
Essential Responsibilities:
-Leads recruitment effort for non-exempt staff, contractors, hourly employees, and interns; conducts new employee orientation, compiles and analyzes data relevant to recruiting and staffing; maintains compliance with all requirements to employement. Assists customers by developing interview questions, conducting interviews, and determining appropriate salary ranges for open positions.
-Resolve employee benefit issues by working with corporate office and vendors to update and maintain employee benefit data, benefit costs, and communicating benefit information to employees.
-Provide advice and assistance to leadership and employees on company policies, procedures, and documentation.
-Recommend, schedule, and conduct training courses. Perform other duties as assigned.

Four Year Degree (Human Resources, Psychology, Business or related field) Internship or previous experience preferred
