Position Summary

Provides leadership and guidance to HRIS and HR Data and Reporting Management Team and respective team members who deliver HR applications, systems, data and reporting services to support all Sutter Health employees. Collaborates with HR Center of Expertise and HR Business Partners to understand and assess HRIS requirements, HR metrics and reports, and other data needs. Partners with Sutter Health IS (Business Systems) to select and implement appropriate HR applications and systems. Defines and implements processes to enhance the usability and functionality of HR applications, systems, and processes. Maintains strong relationships with internal and external clients, proactively analyzing client needs and acting on client feedback. Provides strategic direction and thought leadership on leading practices on HRIS and HR Data and Reporting. Partners with key business and functional leaders to understand both geographical and cross functional implications in order to ensure consistent and timely customer service. Creates and builds teams that are focused on delivering results by providing effective coaching and by driving and maintaining employee engagement. Leads provision of effective/efficient services with an optimal balance among cost, efficiency and service delivery.

Supports the success of a high-performing shared services organization by helping to champion and drive the long-term Sutter Shared Services vision. Helps foster an environment in which continuous improvement in business processes and services is welcomed and recognized. Participates in programs and in using tools in support of building a high performance culture via the standard Sutter Shared Services responsibilities (e.g. performance measurement, people development, customer relationship management, etc.).

Qualifications

Education:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent required. Master's degree or equivalent desired.

Limited/occasional travel to major office locations in Northern California, including overnight stays; must provide own transportation.
