Group Procurement is looking for an ambitious leader to head up our Supply Chain operations support team based in Houston, Texas, operating under the trade name of Moller Supply Services. As a Leader of Leaders, the position offers an exciting opportunity to impact and implement procurement strategies and optimal supply chain solutions supporting Maersk Drilling and Egyptian Drilling Company. The successful candidate will develop key stakeholder relationships internally and externally with local and international suppliers to support Maersk Drilling's rapid growth transformation in Houston, Texas.

•Direct accountability for the daily operation performance for purchasing and logistics activities related to Maersk Drilling USA activities
•Accountability for optimizing the performance of the service toward operations and projects
•Developing/optimizing the supply chain including the management of an outsourced warehousing and logistics contract supporting shore base activities, global stock warehousing and transitional goods
•Managing daily interactions with a multitude of stakeholders
•Participation as required, in international procurement projects and operational/strategic development plans
•Leading and developing a team of procurement and finance specialists ensuring optimal and transparent purchase to pay process is utilized
•Accountable for all finance functions to ensure all processes are executed within corporate governance, Group Internal Audit and Group Procurement financial audit standards
•Ensuring optimal day sales outstanding and day payable outstanding targets are met and maintain ensuring timely payables and consistent cash inflow

Who we are looking for

Our ideal candidate has/is:

•Enthusiastic, energetic and confident -has a sense of urgency to get things done
•4+ years of leadership experience internal or external
•Ability to interact with various stakeholders, including senior managers and operational staff, both internal and external
•Understanding of purchase to pay process
•Knowledge or previous exposure to the offshore industry is considered an advantage
•Specific experience in service contracting is considered an advantage
•Excellent communicator with ability to prioritize and work with multiple discipline teams
•Knowledge or experience in Finance processes, including budgeting is preferred but not required
