Required Documents/Attachments:

* Copy of valid and current First Aid and CPR cards SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must possess, or obtain prior to appointment, a valid California Driver's License. Must have the ability to obtain and maintain insurability status under the District's vehicle insurance policy. MUST ATTACH A DRIVER’S RECORD SEARCH FROM THE DEPARTMENT OF MOTOR VEHICLES, DATED WITHIN THE LAST SIX (6) MONTHS, TO THE ONLINE EDJOIN APPLICATION. THE DOCUMENT MUST INCLUDE THE WORD “END” ON THE FINAL PAGE TO INDICATE THE COMPLETE DOCUMENT HAS BEEN SUBMITTED.

Must possess a valid and current First Aid Certificate and a Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certificate (CPR). Must attach a copy of these cards to the online EdJoin application.

An offer of employment in this classification is contingent upon passing a physical examination.

Pass the District Health Technician Test. Education and Experience: High School diploma or its equivalent. College courses in the Health Aide field highly desirable. One year of experience providing related health care services. Must complete a minimum of 14 hours of District provided training during the first two (2) years of employment.
