Responsibilities Support the direct patient care team and provide quality patient care under the direction of nursing Provides coordination of unit flow through answering telephones, patient call lights, chart maintenance, order transcription, charge entry, and completion of birth certificates Qualifications Education/Experience: High school graduate Successful completion of approved health unit coordinator program required Previous HUC and/or Excellian experience preferred Medical terminology required Skills: Proficient with keyboarding skills Customer service skills Ability to prioritize and multi-task Strong English skills in reading, writing, verbal comprehension, and expression Must be able to become a notary upon hire Pay,Benefits, & Work Schedule Part-time: 20 hours/week Evening Shift Every other weekend Non Contract Location/Community Information With beautiful natural settings along the Mississippi River, St. Paul embodies a large ethnically diverse population with restaurants, cultural entertainment, and shopping venues for everyone.
