Our financial services client is looking for a Sr Application Support Specialist to work directly with the traders with any day to day support needed. Must have experience working on trading risk and pricing systems. Some responsibilities include: Responsibilities Interface with business users and subject matter experts to define requirements and refine the details necessary for modifications to software Design & implement new enhancements in a demanding, fast-paced environment Communicate status and report issues to the team leader Become familiar with the bank APIs Enhancement of Trader spreadsheets Troubleshoot and resolve production issues Improve/enhance production platform by automating manual tasks using VBA, Scripting languages Qualifications Degree in Financial Engineering, CFA preferred 1-3 years experience in Front Office Support/Rapid Development Familiarity with Fixed Income Trading, Pricing, and Risk Management concepts Excellent oral and written communication skills Excellent knowledge of Excel/VBA 2010 Knowledge of C/C++ useful. Knowledge of scripting language e.g. Perl, Python or ruby useful.
