Under general direction, will provide face-to-face, phone, and email support for Macintosh and PC hardware and software.
Will configure Mac and PC desktop and notebook computers for use in a TCP/IP network environment, perform software and hardware installations, troubleshoot/resolve issues with both hardware and software, and respond to user questions and issues related to various systems. Other duties may include maintaining software/hardware inventory databases, documenting system procedures and providing end-user training for systems and software products.
Will also maintain software/hardware repair logs, assist with workstation relocations, assist with phone programming, moves and installation, and other related duties and tasks as required or assigned.
Requires a high school diploma and a minimum of 3+ years of related help desk experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been attained.
Must have demonstrated in depth knowledge of Macintosh and PC related software and hardware, knowledge of productivity applications (e.g. Microsoft Office Suite), familiarity with ticketing systems, and strong customer service and organizational skills.
Requires strong analytical skills, excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to effectively interact with individuals from various cultures and backgrounds.
