The Help Desk Support Technician will help maintain high level technical support of applications and technologies for a fast paced organization. This position, under general supervision, provides technology solutions, makes recommendations and implementation. The day to day operations will require knowledge in working with Enterprise LAN/WAN network architecture and TCP/IP. Administrating Backup Software (Backup Exec) and LTO Devices, VoIP Technologies and Virtual Machines. Experience with Microsoft Windows 7/XP, Microsoft Windows Server 2003/2008, SQL Server 2005/2008/2012. Administrative Responsibilities of Active Director Users and Computers, Group Policy Management, Internet Information Services, Exchange 2010. Assist in maintaining inventory and asset tracking of all hardware and software licensing. Supports and maintains system policies and standards.
Candidate must possess strong leadership, prioritization skills and the willingness to tackle difficult challenges with our changing platform. The ability to function in a high-energy environment. Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience. 2 years direct experience as an IT professional supporting IT operations, minimum.
