American Technology Services Inc needs an experienced Tier IHelp Desk Consultant to work at our clients site in Washington DC This is a fulltime permanent position If you enjoy the combination of working with multiple clients and putting your experience to work with a variety of different software and hardware products then we want to talk to you Candidates need to be individuals who strive for personal growth and success American Technology Services offers a positive work environment and big company benefits while maintaining small company culture Primary Job Responsibilities include Serving as primary contact for all client support calls and network outages Client interaction while researching and resolving support calls using a helpdesk ticketing system Maintenance monitoring and support of client networks servers and applications Maintenance and support of client desktops laptops and printers Maintenance and monitoring of client backup systems Developing technical documentation for clients and internal processes Providing client user assistance and training as needed General Requirements Candidates Must Have Minimum 3 years working experience on a technical helpdesk for clients or equivalent experience Minimum 3 years experience in software and hardware troubleshooting on laptops desktops servers and networking equipment A can do attitude and follow through approach for solutions Excellent customer service practices Strong verbal and written communication skills with all levels of employment and technical knowledge bases Reliability and punctuality a MUST Ability to work individually and in team environments both internally and with clients Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds for moving computer equipment Favorable results on a Standard Criminal Background Check for employment Technical Requirements Candidate Must Have a Good Functional Knowledge of Windows Server 2003 2008 2010 and Active Directory IIS 6 7 DNS Firewalls and security concepts VMware Products (ESX Server vCenter) Dell and HP WorkstationServer Hardware Backup software applications Remote support applications Patch Management Monitoring software Technical Helpdesk Bachelors degree in a related field or prior experience either in a hosting consulting or professional services environment preferred Certifications are a plus Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) Microsoft Certified professional (MCP) Network+ Certification Security+ Certification About us American Technology Services Inc is a fullservice IT solutions firm that has earned a reputation for delivering high quality services that revolve around four key areas bull Network and infrastructure support bull Web site design and development bull Managed hosting services bull Information technology consulting American Technology Services primarily supports clients in Associations Financial institutions and Professional Services Firms For more information visit us at wwwnetworkatscom Qualified candidates can apply through our web site or reply to this post American Technology Services Inc is an Equal Opportunity Employer and supports a DrugFree Work Environment Please see job description
