Teaching courses in other areas such as American History, American Studies, European History, or World History.
Participating in review, development, and implementation of curriculum.
Participating in departmental meetings and student assessment.
Participating actively in the life of the college community through committee work and inter-departmental collaboration.
Minimum Qualifications:
Master's degree with a major in history (with an emphasis in African American History) or a Master's degree with a minimum of 16 graduate semester credits (24 graduate quarter credits) in history.
Preferred Qualifications:
College teaching experience
PhD in History or related field
Demonstrated committment to the academic needs of non-traditional college, including first generation, older students, minority/multicultural students, or non-native speakers of English.
