Assists with the clerical and administrative support components of the home health operations and patient care processes, which includes responding to incoming calls, managing paper flow, maintenance of patients' records, processing requests for release of patients' records, OASIS data entry, procuring and stocking/dispensing medical and office supplies and equipment, maintenance of Lab Line, duplicating and distributing interoffice forms, managing distribution of interoffice correspondence, assisting in payroll processing, and performing other duties as directed by the Branch Manager.
High school graduate with 2 years clerical experience preferrably in a healthcare setting. Excellent communication, organization and interpersonal skills, typing, office machinery and computer knowledge required. Knowledge of medical terminology and some business education a plus.
