We are presently hiring a Host/Hostess for our Hi-Way Pizza location. The successful candidate will be responsible for warmly welcoming our guests on arrival and managing their timely seating to a table.
Job Requirements:
Maintains a Guest focus while performing duties
Warmly and graciously greet all guests upon arrival
When immediate seating is limited, record guest names and number of people in party
Call out name and number of party when tables become available
Provide guests with estimated waiting time
Accommodate special seating requests for guests whenever possible
Respond promptly and courteously to any requests from our patrons
Upon seating, offer guests a menu and inform them of their server’s name, inspect table for proper presentation and completeness
Be ready and willing to assist in with clearing and resetting tables
Thank guests for their visit and invite them to return
Complete opening and closing checklists
Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 5 hours)
Must be able to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment
Clear communication skills are key in this role, as well as ability to adapt/react quickly as needed
Assumes 100% responsibility for our guests’ lobby experience
Assumes 100% responsibility for the cleanliness of the lobby and desk area
Must be 18 years old
