Summary of Job Duties

Oversees patient meal tray distribution, obtaining patient food preferences, and providing quality customer service as a Nutritional Services and hospital liaison. Assists patients with menu selection. Communicates identified patient, equipment, environmental needs and concerns to appropriate department.

Qualifications & Requirements

Ability to communicate effectively in English (verbally and written)

Ability to handle stressful situations and respond in a professional manner

Ability to organize and prioritize workload, as well as multi-task in order to meet timelines

Ability to work independently and perform effectively in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment

Basic mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)

Basic office equipment and software application proficiency

Bilingual Spanish-fluency preferred

High School Diploma or equivalent certification

Previous food service experience and basic knowledge of therapeutic diets desirable

Works well with others in a team-oriented environment, including support of other co-workers’ job duties in a manner that further advances the goals and objectives of the entire organization
