This position is responsible for managing the administrative functions of Davidson Companies Human Capital Department. This includes but is not limited to new employee administration and personnel record administration. This position will also be responsible for maintaining HR systems as well as identifying, testing and implementing process improvement opportunities and testing all HR systems.

Qualifications: (Including specific Education and License requirements)
  • High School Diploma required, Associates Degree or higher preferred

  • Computer software proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet and Outlook required. Proficiency with creating forms using Adobe Acrobat preferred

  • Must maintain a high level of confidentiality

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Continually maintain a professional rapport with visitors, employees and others associated with Davidson Companies

  • Ability to work under pressure

  • Must be detail oriented

  • Capable of handling multiple tasks and prioritizing

  • Ability to work without supervision and be proactive in developing new ideas

  • Ability to work independently and with a team

  • Duties:
    • Under various time constraints, updates and maintains employee HRIS database with new employee information and various employee changes after verifying proper documentation and approvals have been obtained. Accountable for following up with manager and/or employee if information is incomplete

    • In-depth work with the HRIS database and related HR systems such as the employee and manager portal, on-line application and the performance review systems. Assists end-users, identify and escalate issues as necessary and follow through to resolution

    • Assures all personnel files are properly maintained for completeness, accuracy and confidentiality

    • Explains basic personnel policies and benefits to employees

    • Creates reports as requested by managers/supervisors and employees on a need to know basis

    • Assists with monitoring and updating key card access for Great Falls employees

    • Answers phone, distributes mail and greets and assists visitors entering Human Capital department in a positive, professional manner

    • Assists with special projects as assigned by the Director of Human Capital

    • Performs other duties as assigned
