Goals, objectives, activities and systems-participates in developing, planning, organizing and controlling for HR. Evaluates and reports, decisions and results of department in relation to established goals.
Compensation program-implements and annually updates;conducts annual salary surveys and develops merit pool (salary budget); analyzes compensation and monitors performance evaluation program and revises as necessary.
Personnel polices and procedures-develops, recommends, implements and prepares and maintain Employee Handbook and Employee Directory.
Benefits adminstration-performs including claims resolution, change reporting, approving invoices for payment, annual re-evaluation of policies for cost effectiveness, information, information activities program, and cash flow.
Affirmative action program-develops and maintain;files EEO-1 annually; maintains other records, reports, and logs to conform to EEO regulations.
Recruitment effort-conducts for all recruitment (active and passive), with upper management and director's guidance, for exempt and nonexempt personnel, students, and temporary employees; job descriptions-rewrites as necessary; conducts new-employee orientations;monitors career pathing program, employee relations counseling, outplacement counseling, and exit interviewing; writes and places advertisements.
Records and reports for HR-establishes and maintains.
Duties-miscellaneous performs incidental and related duties as required and assigned.
Bachelor's or master's degree in Human Resources Management and seven (7) years' experience in the HR field
Human Resources (SPHR) certification.
