Ke`aki Technologies LLC is currently seeking a Temporary Human Resources (HR) Specialist to work on our Pacific Missile Range Facility contract in Kauai.

POSITION SUMMARY: Under limited supervision, performs complex administrative duties following established procedures in the Human Resources Department.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide orientation for new hires and conducts exit interviews with terminated employees. Maintains employee personnel files and benefit records. Maintains confidentiality and privacy of information for all personnel files. Administers employee benefit programs such as 401(K), Group Life Insurance, Voluntary benefit programs, COBRA, FMLA, Temporary Disability Insurance, Workers Compensation and Medical/Dental Plans in a timely manner. Resolves administrative problems with vendors and provides guidance and assistance to employees with benefit issues, inquiries and complaints. Provide administrative support to the Human Resources Manager. Creates reports from database. Able to multi-task and meet deadlines. Performs other duties as required.

REQUIREMENTS: Required Education: High School or equivalent. Desired Education : Associate degree in a related discipline or graduate of recognized school of business. Four (4) years of equivalent work experience may be substituted for degree requirements. Required Experience: Four years of related office experience is required of which two years must be in Human Resources. Excellent customer service skills as position involves frequent employee and vendor contact. Possess excellent organizational skills to handle multiple priorities and communication skills. Discreet on all confidential employee matters. Working knowledge of office machines; typewriter, word processor, copying machines, calculators and personal computers. Able to type 45-50 words per minute. Must be proficient in the following PC Skills: MICROSOFT OFFICE: Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, and Access. Other: HRIS (One year experience in a computerized Human Resources Information System).

SECURITY CLEARANCE: Applicants will be subject to a Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements to obtain and maintain a security clearance for access to classified information or Closed/Restricted Areas.
