Human Resources Generalist
Under general direction of the Human Resources Business Partner, performs as required, assignments in the areas of employee relations, compensation administration, HRIS, organizational studies, employment activities, investigations and special projects.
Prepares change forms, compiles salary and other personnel statistics, answers complex personnel inquiries, maintains position description file.
Interprets and administers the policies and practices of the location.
This position reports directly to the Human Resources Business Partner.
The Human Resource Generalist interfaces with all business unit and enterprise functions.
This position also supports local and remote professional and technical staff.
Interprets and applies established human resource policies within assigned operations.
Interfaces with HR Shared Service Center, including preparation, submission and follow-up of personnel information notices and associated activities.
Coordinates recruiting as assigned including internal posting, external recruiting and interviewing, ensuring that properly qualified employee are selected.
Ensures compliance with any established inclusive workforce goals.
Assists managers in performance management matters, including development of performance improvement plans, employee performance coaching and development of individual development plans.
Administer relocation and immigration activities.
Provide general interpretation of E-Z-GO employee benefits such as:
Tuition Reimbursement, EAP, COBRA, and Severance.
Assists with the implementation of training efforts including coordinating training programs and maintaining training records.
May facilitate training classes.
Provides support of a confidential and complex nature for the Human Resources Business Partner and other management on a regular basis.
Assists with wage and benefit surveys including compiling and analyzing results.
Performs special projects as assigned by the Human Resources Business Partner.
Performs all duties in accordance with the Textron Business Conduct Guidelines.
It is a requirement that the Human Resource Generalist be able to communicate professionally and effectively with all levels of employees and management.
Must develop and maintain positive employee relations while administering the policies of Human Resources and resolving complex employee problems.
Requires the ability to maintain sensitive and confidential information.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or related field and 1-3 years of progressive Human Resource experience. Experience in a similar manufacturing environment is preferred.
This position may exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
