Position Summary:
The Human Resources Generalist assists in the interpretation and administration of the Human Resources policies, procedures and programs. This role will support various business partners and leads HR practices that will develop a high performance culture. This will entail an emphasis on employee engagement, quality, productivity, goal attainment, recruitment, and the ongoing development of the workforce. The individual in this role will possess strong communication, critical thinking, organizational skills, and attention to detail.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Manages entire recruitment process including developing and updating job descriptions, posting positions, and working closely with hiring managers to facilitate screening, interviewing and calibration processes

Leads new hire on-boarding processes and ensures timely enrollment in benefit programs and completion of new hire paperwork

Maintains and updates employee records as well as report generation by period and compiles metrics reports

Policy Management - including administering/interpreting company Policies and representing the organization (and/or assisting the HR Manager/Director) in personnel and employment law compliance related investigations and hearings

HR/Organization Consulting - including change management facilitation and organizational consulting with all levels of employees

Employee Relations - including assisting HR Manager/Director with developing and implementing effective Employee Relations programs; also assists with employee event planning.

Assist and support all HR activities/duties as needed

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related discipline

3 years Human Resources experience, required

Must be proficient with Microsoft Office applications

PHR/SPHR, preferred

1-2 years SAP experience, preferred

1-2 years Taleo or online recruiting systems experience, preferred

Strong communication skills at all levels required

Must possess strong planning, interpersonal, and written skills
