  • JOB SUMMARY

    Under the general direction of the Senior Human Resources Director the HR Generalist II of Sisters of Charity Hospital is responsible for independently performing all HR operational functions related to the implementation of the associate relations programs and other HR related activities. Coordinates and integrates this activity with other Human Resource functions. Performs duties as required to meet the HR operational needs of both the Main Street and St. Joseph Campus.

    Senior Human Resources Director

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    None.

    EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

    · Associates Degree in HR, Business Administration or related field with two (2) years in human resources or Bachelor's in human resources

    EXPERIENCE:
    • Four (4) years experience in human resources without degree.
    KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY:
    • Strong knowledge & experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access software applications
    • Solid Knowledge of AS400 and Position Manager.
    • Excellent verbal and written interpersonal communication skills.
    • Ability to analyze problems and recommend effective solutions.
    • Self-starter, able to anticipate problem areas and proactively intervene with HR programs.
    • Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to all facets of Human Resources.

    WORKING CONDITIONS:

    Work is performed in an office setting.

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Maintains HR filing systems including associate personnel files.
    • Coordinates and responds to unemployment insurance claims and intiates paperwork to protest benefits applicable.
    • Completes audits for Time and Attendance System, I-9 forms, and new hire paperwork.
    • Research and answer basic inquiries generated from managers and associates.
