The Human Resource Manager (HRM) is the primary human resource partner with management and employees and is a strategic member of the business unit leadership team. The HRM collaborates with Ministry employees, leaders and departments across the organization to ensure alignment across Ministry Health Care. The HRM is responsible for driving the development and execution of people and HR strategy and to ensure it is aligned with the operational and organizational needs of the designated business unit(s). The incumbent serves as an internal human resources consultant, analyzing and recommending solutions to human resources issues relating to assigned business unit(s). In addition under the direction of the recruiting manager will be responsible for building a pipeline of qualified candidates for specific business units. The incumbent serves as a liaison between the business unit and the other human resource specialists in recruiting, talent management, employee health, compensation, benefits, HR operations, payroll, the HR Service Center and leave management.
Bachelor degree in Business or Human Resources or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
A minimum of three to five years of broadly based consultative human resources responsibilities in a medium to large organization required.
Experience in a healthcare environment preferred.
Excellent knowledge of employment law required and experience in a highly compliant organization preferred.
Excellent knowledge of employment leave laws and practices required.
Excellent overall communication skills, including strong computer skills required.
Proven success in a collaborative environment required.
Strong computer knowledge with MS Office products and HRIS systems required.
PHR, SPHR, or GPHR preferred.
