Ke`aki Technologies has an exciting opportunity for a Human Resources Manager / Deputy HR Director working in our Orlando, FL office.

Job Summary:
The Human Resources Manager/Deputy HR Director is responsible for directing all of the people functions of the organization in accordance with the policies and practices of the Company, regulations and administrative rulings of governmental organizations and other regulatory and advisory authorities. Key to the role will be the delivery of a range of HR programs to support the achievement of the Ke`aki Technologies business’s key initiatives and objectives. This position is responsible for transforming core values into common practices at all levels of the organization. T he successful candidate will set high standards of performance for themselves and others; be professional in both word and actions in any situation; seek new knowledge and experiences; have an analytical mindset that can utilize factual data to develop solutions; be self-aware and adjust accordingly to different environments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: (Not listed in order of importance; other duties may be assigned)

Provide HR related support and advice to management and staff on a range of HR functions including talent acquisition and retention, employee relations, performance and compensation planning, learning & development, organization development and effective leadership practices.

Ensure legislative compliance and identify and implement company policies and practices are compliant with Federal and state. This includes areas of policy and procedure, employee entitlements and employee relations.

Develop appropriate policies and programs for effective management of the people resources of the corporation. Included in this area, but not limited to, are employee relations, sexual/harassment, employee complaints, and compensation.

Enhance and/or develop, implement and enforce human resources policies and procedures of the organization by way of systems that will improve the overall operation and effectiveness of the corporation. In particular, manage the human resource information systems database and necessary reports for critical analyses of the HR function and the people resources of the corporation.

Evaluation of the human resource division structure and team plan for continual improvement of the efficiency and effectiveness of the group as well as providing individuals with professional and personal growth with emphasis on opportunities (where possible) for individuals. Training of subordinate staff for professional development and team growth.

Benefit Management from cradle to grave – procurement, contract administration, Open Enrollment process, vendor management, delegation to staff, and responsiveness to employees.

Lead and oversee employee relations investigations and effective resolution of claims

Participate in OFCCP/DOL, and various other company audits

Train/Guide management and employees in HR policies and company processes

Knowledge of compensation best practices and administration

Ability to travel up to 25%

All other duties as assigned

Supervisory Responsibilities: This position is responsible for the management of HR and Recruiting staff within the HR department and reports directly to the Director of Human Resources.

At least 8 years of experience in a HR, with demonstrated leadership experience in increasing levels of responsibility, including management of personnel and processes

Bachelors Degree in HR, business, industrial relations

In addition to the above, professional certification and/or Masters degree is highly preferred

Background in employment law and other government compliance regulations is required

Demonstrated ability in aligning HR strategy and programs to business and client requirements

Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to interact with a wide range of levels

Strong presentation skills

Ability to complete HR reporting and measurement activities

Sound working knowledge of HR requirements within the DoD environment

Strong influence and negotiation skills across all levels of management

Proactive and positive approach

Knowledge:
Advanced knowledge of HR related policies and procedures

Advanced knowledge of industry best practice and legislative compliance

Understanding of DoD contract language

Strong knowledge of OFCCP, SCA, Davis-Bacon, EEO, Title VII, DOL, FLSA, OSHA, GINA, E-Verify, ADA, FMLA, FAR, DCAA etc.

Sound PC skills and advanced knowledge and application of Microsoft Office suite of products, including Excel

Union experience preferred

Abilities:
Strong analytical and mathematical skills. Additionally must have strong administrative and management skills

Complete delegated work and meet deadlines with minimal supervision

Strong oral, written and communication skills and be able to motivate employees. Ability to maintain strong working relationships with other staff and partners

Be creative to plan and accomplish a variety of goals and be results-oriented

Ability to objectively coach employees and management through complex, difficult, and emotional issues

The ability to research and analyze various types of data sets

Must have the ability to make recommendations to effectively resolve problems or issues, by using judgment that is consistent with standards, practices, policies, procedures, regulation or government law

Position requires travel, up to 25%
