Inter-Con currently has an immediate opening for an HR Representative. The ideal candidate will have at least four years of human resources experience.
Generalist Responsibilities :
Responds to unemployment claims
Participates in unemployment hearings
Follows up on unemployment decisions, appeals and notices in unemployment matters
Produces employment reports for department and compliance-related statistics
Inputs data into databases and systems as required
Prepares employment verification responses
Assists with open enrollment and benefits administration
Assists with workers' compensation administration
Assists wth state and federal leaves of absences
Perform administrative duties such as preparing and sending letters to employeese, scanning employee documentation and copying documentation for subpoenas.
Minimum of 4 years human reso
4-year degree (BA or BS) preferred
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills a must
General knowledge of state and federal labor and employment laws
Ability to multi-task, remain flexible and have exceptional organizational and communication skills as well as strong attention to detail
Ability to construct and produce reports, data, input, manipulation and analysis
Knowledge of Ceridian payroll software
Experience with Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
