Who we are: Your Part-Time Controller, LLC, is a growing accounting firm specializing in helping nonprofit organizations. Our clients and staff are located in four markets: Philadelphia, Washington, New York City, and Baltimore. This position is based in our Philadelphia office. What we are looking for: You will help us continue to grow our firm by improving and maintaining a well-run and efficient human resource and staffing department. You will immediately become part of our management team.Characteristics of the person we are seeking: MatureOutgoing, warm, and friendlyDependable, able to meet commitments and deadlinesKnowledgeable about human resource related issues, laws, practicesAdept with computer software and technologyExceptional writing skillsComfortable with the ever changing environment of a growing organizationSummary job description and responsibilities: You will be responsible for helping us hire the most talented staff and then helping us to keep everyone happy and productive. We are a two-time winner of the Business Journal "Best Places to Work" award for good reason!Your responsibilities will include: RecruitingEnsuring a smooth staff onboarding processMonitoring our training program scheduling and attendanceScheduling staff at our clientsBenefits administrationAnnual health insurance renewalsAnnual performance review coordination for our staff membersHelping our staff with any and all HR related concerns or issuesCross training with our other management support staff to be able to pitch-in and assist when needed Additional information: This is a full-time positionYou will report directly to our partners and will work closely with our other senior management team. We have a very supportive environment in which team members will support you with your work and you will support them with theirsOur normal workweek is 35 hours. While overtime is sometimes necessary, we take seriously our commitment to keep overtime to a minimum to allow our staff a healthy balance between work and family lifeThe need for this position is created by our growth and the retirement of our current HR DirectorPosition is available to start immediatelySalary and benefits: Salary is competitive commensurate with experience.
