The Human Resources/ Program Manager position is the in-house point of contact for government healthcare contracts. The position is a performance-based position which will support personnel working in the field; provide early detection of performance issues, assess recruitment challenges, and ensure compliance with general corporate and government policies and procedures.
Provides oversight to human resources department to ensure compliance with corporate and government requirements. Program management of employees working in the field. Develops comprehensive knowledge of SAR Corp’s government staffing contracts. Administers personnel policies and procedures contained in corporate documents such as the Employee and Independent Contractor Handbook. Provides credentialing services and background / security requirement in accordance with government regulations. Stays abreast of personnel issues requiring monitoring and/or performance improvement. Provide briefings to President and CEO on organizational risks, issues and matters related to personnel, program management and other. Must be proactive in management style. Must be able to gain resolution of issues within short-time frames (48 hours if possible). Must be able to expresses ideas clearly both verbally and in writing. Must effectively communicate with agency officials and employees. Must demonstrate proficient computer skills in word-processing and data management tools (i.e. Word, Excel, etc.). Must have/ or gain proficiency in all required ranges of human resources policy as necessary to protect the interests of SAR Corp and to provide executive-level oversight. Such policies may regard disability insurance, worker’s compensation, FMLA, disability claims, unemployment claims, 401(k) and others as necessary to keep SAR Corp a highly functional and cost conservative corporate environment.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree with 5 years experience in human resources management, recruitment or program management services. Must have government contract experience of 3-5 years. Experience working personal and non-personal services contracts (DoD), or healthcare staffing
