Placer County Water Agency encompasses the entire 1,500-square-mile boundary of Placer County, ranging from the rim of the Sacramento Valley on the west to the Sierra Nevada and Lake Tahoe on the east. PCWA is headquartered in Auburn and provides water resource planning and management, retail and wholesale supply of irrigation water and drinking water and the production of hydroelectric energy. HYDRO MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR (MECHANICAL/CIVIL)
$75,613 - $96,502 annually, DOQ, plus excellent benefits
PCWA is seeking qualified candidates to plan, organize, direct and supervise mechanical and civil maintenance activities for the Agency’s multipurpose hydroelectric facilities and equipment, including turbines and associated governors, intake gates and valves, dam spillway gates and controls, penstocks and related equipment. Our ideal candidate will possess three years of journey-level experience involving the installation, maintenance, overhaul, repair and modification of mechanical equipment associated with hydroelectric generating facilities, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
