Reporting to the Associate Director of Coding Integrity this position will be responsible for managing the relationship between the United Clinical Services (UCS) Coding team and the Contracted Coding team working for the ICD-10 project.

This individual will analyze productivity and audit results, assemble metric reports, identify issues and trends, develop remediation plan recommendations for presentation to Associate Director. They will regularly meet with the contractors’ and contractors’ management team to provide feedback on performance, productivity, quality and assure remediation plans are implemented and progress tracked.

The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to communicate with clarity and cultural awareness which builds engagement across a global matrix environment.

Qualifications

Requirements:
· 3+ years Managed care experience.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills

· Strong data analytics and/or metrics reporting experience
· Ability to analyze and translate data to develop recommendations for action plans
· Experience with medical coding (e.g. CPT, HCPCS, ICD-9, ICD-10, CMS)
· Proficient in the use of MS Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint

· Flexible schedule with a strong ability to multitask
· Must be able to build relationships in a global matrix environment
· Ability to travel to Manila, Philippines for several weeks.

Asset:
· Claims and/or Medical Management experience in a managed care setting
· 3+ years Customer Service experience
· Prior Management experience
· Certified Professional Coder
