To perform all aspects of high and low voltage electrical work; maintain, install, and repair electrical and instrumentation equipment pertinent to water or wastewater plant activities; to assist in improving and testing new and technologically advance equipment; and to provide technical support to the assigned Instrumentation/Electrical Supervisor. Must be proficient in MS Word and Excel.
Skills / Requirements
High School Diploma or GED PLUS two (2) years experience in the instrumentation or electrical fields of construction, motor control maintenance, or process control instrumentation.
An Associates Degree in Instrumentation or Electrical Technology may be substituted for the required minimum qualifications.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Possession of a valid Texas Drivers License.
Possession of or ability to obtain a Maintenance Electricians License within three (3) years of employment, or an Associates Degree in Instrumentation or Electrical Technology.
MISC. REQUIREMENTS: State of Texas Journeyman Electrical License or Masters Electrical License strongly preferred.
