INTERN - EUV Optical Engineering
Describe in a few words what the intern project is:
The internship will be in the area of 1μm laser pre-pulse development (beam path and metrology) and/or in CO
laser delivery systems. The internship will likely be experimental based, requiring the self-driven set-up and running of limited experiments and compiling a report afterwards
The objective of the internship is to get assistance from a skilled student in the EUV beam delivery and metrology systems.
Contribution to Cymer:
Assist with the development and testing of the 1μm laser pre-pulse development for beam path and metrology and/or CO
laser delivery programs.
Benefit/Experience for Intern:
Learn and practice optics, data acquisition, analysis and communication of the results to a broad audience. This is a great opportunity for a hands-on experience in a high tech industrial environment.
Intern Qualifications/Experience Desired (major/year/skills):
Basic experience with optics, lasers, electronics and data acquisition and analysis is required. The interns shall demonstrate the ability to work with optics, lasers, oscilloscopes, LabView and MatLab for data acquisition and analysis, and good communication skills. Lab experience and laser safety awareness is essential.
