  • Proactively greet, interact, and assist resort staff in a professional manner to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious work environment.

  • Provide hair services including haircuts, blow drying and styling, hair treatments, up-dos, and hair extensions.
  • Perform hair services for salon guests including haircuts, styling, coloring and other hair treatments.
  • Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Maintain complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment. Use equipment only as intended.
  • Anticipate guests’ needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests, however busy and whatever time of day.
  • Maintain positive guest relations at all times.
  • Be familiar with all hotel services/features and local attractions/activities to respond to guest inquiries accurately.
  • Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work areas.

  • Participate in the property’s sustainability initiative through energy conservation and the use of recycling programs and materials.
  • Ensure Hotel property and equipment is properly used and maintained.
  • Protect and utilize Hotel assets in a responsible and professional manner.
  • Perform all duties as deemed necessary for the success of the department.
  • Provide hair services including haircuts, blow drying and styling, hair treatments, up-dos, and hair extensions.
  • Maintain the safety of all guests and staff by providing a clean and sanitary work environment; including sanitizing, disinfecting, and sweeping as necessary.
  • Dispose of soiled linens as needed.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of all products and provide guests with current information involving the latest techniques and procedures.
  • Stock work stations and inform management of necessary inventory needing replacement.
  • Provide excellent guest service by completing services promptly in the time allotted while maintaining professional and courteous behavior to all guests and employees.
  • Check equipment for damage or in need of repair.
  • Other job related duties as requested.


    • At least 2 years of guest service experience.
    • At least 2 years of Colorist and/or Stylist experience.
    • Excellent customer service skills.
    • Ability to lead and mentor a team (if applicable).
    • Interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts.
    • Work varied shifts; including weekends and holidays.
    • Current Cosmetologist license, as issued by the State Board of Cosmetology.
    • High School Diploma or equivalent.
    • Ability to effectively communicate in English, in both oral and written forms.
    • Previous experience working in a similar resort setting.
