Toyota Material Handling International AB (TMHI) is a part of Toyota Material Handling Group, the world’s leading supplier of industrial trucks for efficient material handling and related services. TMHI is responsible for marketing, sales and support of warehouse trucks including BT and Raymond brands on the international markets covering Asia, Latin America, Oceania, Middle East, Africa (ALOMA). Our network consists of 6 Toyota companies and more than 70 independent distributors. The TMHI head quarter including support functions and marketing is centrally located in Mjölby, Sweden.
We work in close co-operation with our colleagues in Takahama, Japan, for sales and distribution of Toyota branded truck in the ALOMA markets.
As International Sales Director you are responsible for sales and support activities towards our distributor network. You lead the team of Regional managers, located in Mjölby and at our regional offices in Dubai, Kuala Lumpur, Santiago and Shanghai, to achieve the targets in each region. Your areas of responsibility also cover marketing activities and campaigns, training support, product planning and participation in various forums in order to further develop our sales and products.
You will work in close co-operation with our colleagues in Japan and with our captive and independent distributors.
You hold a relevant business-related degree and/or have a successful background in sales and commercial negotiations from a management position – preferably within the material handling business or in an international company. You are a good problem-solver, who create motivation and negotiate across organizational and cultural boundaries. You are able to facilitate sales processes, and have a strong drive and motivation to work with international distribution network and customers. You are a strong team leader with capabilities to lead a team well spread out from a geographical and time zone point of view. You are an excellent communicator with solid administration skills. Additionally, you are fluent in English, both spoken and written, and preferably one or more languages.

The position is based in Mjölby with geographical scope of the ALOMA markets. You will travel in the international area, estimated to +80 travel days per year.
