Brief Posting Description
Responsible for the design, installation, and documentation of all surface facilities. Provides on-site supervision as needed, and acts as Project Manager for all Capital Construction projects
Detailed Description
Provides technical support to field operations, marketing, and operations engineering Maintains facilities files and contracts, ensures all as-builts are loaded in GIS Develops & maintains facilities SOPs and technology standards appropriate for Mid-Continent operations Provides technical and economic analyses for new potential facilities projects Helps trouble-shoot operational problems Ensures compliance with NFX guidelines and standards as well as regulatory and contractual obligations Provides coordination and serves as liaison between asset teams, operations, legal, production accounting, accounting, and marketing to insure proper interpretations and compliance with contracts and proper allocation of production. Provides training and mentoring for others as needed (i.e. interns, professionals on rotation, new hires, etc.) for facilities engineering activities such as pipeline design, compressor sizing, treating, processing, etc. Reviews “midstream” contracts and agreements including transportation, treating, processing, dehydration, compression, etc. and offer technical comments, suggested language and intent for the optimum benefit to Newfield Monitors measurement accuracy and provides guidance and support of Mid-Continent Measurement program. Performs audits when necessary and negotiates settlements
Job Requirements
Pipeline/facility project management (design, estimate costs, procure materials, contract and oversee all types of E&P related projects), project management training a plus Experience modeling system hydraulics Field experience with pipeline contractors overseeing construction activities (inspector) Familiarity with pipeline ROW agreements, settlements and land owner issues Field operations experience with pipelines, compression, dehydration, separation, cooling and treating Foster collaborative working environment with office and field team members and across multi discipline teams to accomplish goals and objectives Strong interpersonal skills, able to work well with customers (i.e. operations engineers, asset team members, marketing, land, legal, field superintendents, etc.) Maintains a balanced focus between functionality, design standards, and efficiency Approaches and evaluates problems from both a detailed and strategic perspective Strong organizational skills Strong Excel/MSOffice skills VMGSim or similar process simulator experience Possess an understanding of measurement, gas quality and settlement statements Familiarity with E & P / Midstream gathering, transportation, treating and processing contracts; technical and commercial aspects of the agreements Experience writing and administering contracts for services, construction and equipment a plus Be able to identify midstream opportunities as they arise in E & P operations (compressor and equipment downsizing, consolidation of gathering pipelines, etc., ) Understand economic models, rates of return, NPV, etc. Understand LOE and capital budgeting process and impacts on cash flow Familiarity with applicable DOT, API, and ANSI standard

Normal office environment May require travel to field locations , approximately 20% A minimum of a B.S. in Petroleum or Mechanical engineering 5+ years of functional facilities engineering experience Experience in providing oversight of contract workers and NFX employees
