Primary Responsibilities:

Provides administrative/transactional and consultative support to client HR community in support of potential relocations and/or assignments, and manages the relocation process to insure successful initiation and ongoing support. Maintains a reduced caseload as the Single Point of Contact, owner and navigator of the relocation process for select customers. Ensures client and customer needs are met in a timely, efficient manner through delivery of Top Block service.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Liaise with Qualcomm Recruiter and HR community

o Participate in and help facilitate periodic refresher trainings for recruiters/authorizers

o Participate in and help facilitate trainings to roll out policy, process, and system changes

o Obtain customer-specific policy/benefit clarifications, as needed

o Represent Cartus at Qualcomm new hire orientation (twice per month) and address relocation questions that may arise

2. VIP Candidates

o Arrange area orientation tours during interview trips

o Conduct pre-acceptance policy counseling

o Meet and greet VIP candidates during interview trip, as requested

3. Serve as a point of contact during service escalations

o Meet with local relocating employees face-to-face to understand their concerns/complaints when service issues arise

o Bring concerns/complaints back to Cartus Account and Operations Management, and Qualcomm HR as appropriate, for resolution

4. Represent Cartus in Qualcomm’s Internship program

o Be available on each intern start date/orientation to ensure interns are satisfied with their Cartus experience. Assist with escalating any issues that arise.

o Attend intern “preview” trips on site to answer any questions before the interns begin. Explain the role Cartus will play in working with the interns

5. Internal Transfers/Short Term Domestic assignments

o As directed by Qualcomm and within the parameters of Cartus’ IT Security protocol, enter authorizations into Qualcomm HRIS for feed to Cartus for internal transferees and short term domestic assignees.

o Collect reimbursement forms and answer questions.

6. Single Point of Contact for select relocating employees

o Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: administering relocation policy / program; counseling on best utilization of resources; reviewing and interpreting marketing reports, appraisals and inspections; oversee equity funding process; coordinating the shipment of household goods; destination services; and expense management.

7. Operational leadership support

o Acts as a subject matter expert (SME) for Qualcomm relocation policies and practices

o Supports operational lead and assists in mentorship of operational staff serving the Qualcomm account

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

· Minimum 3-5 years’ in administrative support

· Minimum 3-5 years experience in client facing position

· Exemplary customer service skills

· Strong communication, written and verbal skills

· Subject matter expertise in domestic relocation

· Working knowledge of international relocation and ability to access internal support resources for information beyond the scope of candidate’s knowledge

· Ability to integrate with Qualcomm’s culture while maintaining the integrity and professionalism of the client/supplier relationship

· Demonstrated relationship management ability

· Demonstrated leadership skills required

· Demonstrated ability to problem solve and manage multiple priorities required

· Basic project management skills

· Excel & PowerPoint knowledge required

· Matrix and ATLAS functionality knowledge preferred

· Willingness and ability to travel by car to various Qualcomm sites within the greater San Diego area, as job duties necessitate. Own transportation is required.
