MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: The primary purpose of this position is to plan, develop, test, implement and support all activities related to the integration of software programs and applications into the organization’s information systems. The incumbent must have specialized knowledge of these systems. The incumbent is responsible for daily management and operations of the core AgStar business applications including enhancements, bug fixes, interfaces and other business requests and is accountable for technical issue resolution including diagnosis of problem, recommendations for workarounds, and defect correction. The incumbent is involved in new development, rather than customized applications or vendor-based applications. The incumbent ensures integration projects meet business requirements and goals, fulfill end-user requirements, and identify and resolve systems issues. The incumbent is also responsible for testing the interoperability of application modules under development. The incumbent is responsible for prioritizing and coordinating multiple small to medium-sized projects at the same time to meet the expectations of internal clients.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems or business; equivalent education and work experience
3 - 5 years of related work experience, with a minimum of 1 year experience in company-wide application integration. Direct experience with integration tools such as WCF Web Services and SharePoint Portal technologies. Experience in overseeing the link between cross-functional applications across business units and systems.
Microsoft certifications preferred in two of the following areas: Solution Developer, Technology Specialist, and Database Developer.
Knowledge and skills in utilizing Microsoft .Net, C# and MS SQL. Knowledge of CRM, InfoPath and XML, a plus
Knowledge of integration best practices.
Project management skills and experience with Microsoft Project.
Proven communication, interpersonal, analytical, organizational and strong planning skills.
