General Function

The IT Analyst II/Technology Specialist represents Sales/Sales Support by providing technical services and training for all “Sales Automation” tools. This individual will have access and familiarity to all sales tools and will be required to keep current with changes in technology. This individual would also be available to support marketing software and programs currently not supported by IT. This individual will be required to service IT calls after work hours insuring that the sales team has support and coverage all hours of the day.

The IT Analyst position will be responsible for helping with the implementation and administration of ARUP’s CRM business solution and processes, within the Sales and Sales Support Division. The individual works closely with the Business Development team to support and drive project enhancements in the sales, marketing and customer services areas. This individual will also support the maintenance and accuracy of the data in CRM, which is managed through the Sales Support team, responsible for keeping a clean database free of duplicates and dirty corruptible data.

Reporting Function

Reports to a Supervisor or Manager.

Essential Functions

Representative Activities and Accountabilities (Service, Support, and Training):
· Tablet PC
· On Call Support
· Network Support
· iPad/Tablet Support
· iPhone/Cell Phone Support
· Air Cards (MiFi devices)
· Sales Software
· Business Development software
· Business Development /Sales troubleshooting
· Internal ARUP programs, which are installed on BDM’s devices
· Education/Training
· Electronic forms and documents
· Basic internet service support for dial-up DSL, and wireless
· Minor Hardware support (Outsource hardware failures to the ARUP Hardware Group).
· Warranty contract management
· Work with IT to develop and support programming of “Sales Automation” tools
· Support Microsoft applications
· Support for Client Mapping
· Support for Client Database Maintenance
· Performs all other duties as assigned
· Provide reports and business analytics from CRM and other internal systems

Job Qualifications

Education/Credentials required
High School diploma or equivalent
Education/Credentials preferred
B.S. degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Mathematics
· Secondary degree or coursework in Clinical Laboratory, Chemical, or Biological sciences
Experience/Skills required
Two years as ARUP IT Analyst I or 4 years of experience in database development, support, and maintenance
· Two years of classroom or on-the-job experience with basic computer programs, hardware, database, and report creation and management
Experience/Skills preferred
Two years of computer application related experience, training, testing, troubleshooting, and communications
· One year of previous Clinical Laboratory or related experience
· One year of experience with Crystal Reports, Microsoft Reporting, or related report development

· Absolute integrity in the accurate identification of samples, test performance, and reporting of results
· Continual assessment of current literature
Individual must be well versed in Microsft Software solutions and Office Tools, understand IT hardware repair. Experience with cellular technologies. Experience with Apple computers, iPad, iPhone preferred. Programming capabilities would be a benefit to the position. Training users on IT hardware and service/applications experience preferred. CRM Experience proffered.
