Provide the design, implementation and management support of Computing Infrastructures and Applications within the Purdue IT environment. Principle accountabilities include providing Technology Solutions to advance the Business. This group also sets technical priorities, standards and procedures and provides expertise in the area of computer technology, business processes, application development, project quality, systems validation and training. Core team member of the SAP Finance/EDI Group with primary responsibility for the SAP Sourcing/CLM and MM Procurement systems, functionality and interfaces. Primarily responsible for development of Sourcing/CLM functionality and its integration with other SAP components. Responsible for creating and sustaining a focused system development effort, by brining together the necessary recourses both inside and outside Purdue that will allow system implementation on time, on quality and on budget meeting the criteria of the project charter.
Required Experience & Technical Requirements
8+ years of relevant experience. In-depth knowledge of SAP Sourcing functionality with experience in managing the implementation of a Contract Lifecycle Management System V9.0 including migration of legacy data from multiple independent databases. Experience with different types of documents such as Master Services Agreements (MSA), Statements of Work (SOW), Engagement Letters, Professional Services Agreements, Subcontractor Agreements, and Request for Proposals (RFP/RFI). Knowledge of ECC, Sourcing and SRM interfaces and various integration points. Knowledge of SAP SRM with respect to direct and indirect procurement processes (punch-out catalog and free text), including, adding new catalogs and functionality, approval hierarchies, workflow, IDOC's, and interfaces to SAP ECC. In depth knowledge of SAP ECC MM Procurement with respect to requisitions and purchase orders and their respective release strategies and interface to ECC FI-A/P (Req-to-Pay Process). Knowledge SAP BC and PI/XI communications protocol, utilizing XML or EDI and ALE for data exchanges and Digital Certificates in a B2B e-Procurement environment
