The University of Illinois Hospital and Health Sciences System is seeking an IT Manager/Administrative Coordinator for an Information Systems applications team that develops, maintains, implements and provides on-going support for enterprise reporting and enterprise clinical imaging systems.

Will manage all aspects of an enterprise healthcare data warehouse including, architecture, marts, and integration of 3rd party data. The incumbent will oversee project planning and implementation of new functions, major applications, and software upgrades throughout the UI Health Enterprise as it relates to data analytics. Will also manage the team responsible for clinical imaging including Radiology and Cardiology PACs systems. Will also manage day to day operations and long term planning for enterprise reporting, analytics and clinical imaging.

Minimum Acceptable Qualifications

1. Any combination totaling six years from the following categories:

a. progressively more responsible work experience in IT-related profession

b. college course work with a concentration in Information Technology (IT), IT Management, or a closely related discipline, as measured by the following conversion table or its proportional equivalent:

  • 60 semester hours or Associate’s Degree equals one year
  • 90 semester hours equals two years
  • 120 semester hours or Bachelor’s Degree equals three years
(Note: Only a maximum of 3 years credit for college course work is available.)

2. A minimum of 5 years experience implementing large healthcare application projects

Previous experience leading a healthcare reporting/analytics team.
