Essential Job Functions
      • Serves as the Network Operation Center's primary point of contact during problems and major events.
      • Coordinates the Network Operation Center 's support activities at multiple geographic locations.
      • Ability to understand complex technical issues, understanding their potential impact to the user base, and apply appropriate resources as required. These issues will require a depth of knowledge in networks, servers, applications, databases and workstations and their interoperations.
      • Ability to make quick and accurate decisions based on sometimes limited information and justify actions taken.
      • Responsible for proper notification of team leads and management on critical problems and major events.
      • Responsible for proper handling and integration of classified and unclassified materials and preparing weekly, daily, and ad hoc reports and briefings using that data.
      • Ability to generate, review, and follow standard operating procedures.
      • Shift work, including weekends and holidays, will be required.
      Qualifications

      Basic Qualifications
      • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
      • Bachelor's degree in computer science, or related field preferred
      • Four or more years of experience with computer systems or networking
      • Experience working with computer hardware for installation and upgrades
      • Experience working with software installation/upgrading procedures
      • Experience working with file and system maintenance procedures
      Other Qualifications
      • Good organization skills to balance and prioritize work
      • Excellent documentation skills to generate or update NOC documentation
      • Analytical and problem solving skills to troubleshoot system’s problems
      • Communication skills to communicate with support personnel, customers, and managers
      • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
