We are looking for an IT Project Manager experienced in Behavioral Health applications, Domestic Violence Prevention Initiatives, Business Analysis, and health information technology related background to work in the Rockville, MD on an IT project with Indian Health Services.
In this requirements management and project management role, the candidate must be able to read and understand IT government policy to include, but not limited to, federal Meaningful Use regulations, translate them into application system requirements for behavioral health applications. Must be able to create and follow a Microsoft project schedule. Some travel will be required.
Credentialed PMP
PM experience in health IT (HIT) required
Behavioral Health IT preferred
Management of Clinical software development
Management of Lead Analyst in Clinical software deployment
Government contracting experience preferred
Knowledge of software and project management Quality lifecycle (EPLC and CPIC equivalent) processes preferred
Develop project budget
Healthcare Analyst
5 – 10 years experience as a clinical analyst
Behavioral health clinical analyst strongly preferred
Analyze various DBH and Agency healthcare initiatives including objectives and reporting requirements
Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Prevention
Tele-Behavioral Health
Others TBD
Behavioral Health federal policy analysis (Meaningful Use, Privacy and Security policies for BH)
Analysis and ramifications for program planning and software development
Strong written and oral communication skills
Author and edit reports for Business Owners, Agency Senior Executives, Congress and other key stakeholders
Clinical software development and deployment
Work with Business Owners and subject matter experts (SME) to develop use cases and functional requirements
Certification:
PMP
Education:
B.S. degree required in Healthcare field, Computer Science or Information Systems
Masters Degree is preferred
