The Project Manager is the
primary owner of Company's solution implementations and ensures that all phases of
the Professional Services methodology are strictly enforced. The Project
Manager provides cross-functional leadership to internal, partner, and customer
organizations ensuring well-coordinated and efficient implementations. The
Project Manager will be responsible for timely and accurate communications to
all project stakeholders ensuring that all aspects of the implementation are
completed on time and within budget. The Project Manager is responsible for
setting and managing expectations throughout customer engagements and will
routinely interact with a wide range of audiences from technical system
engineers to senior management.
Key responsibilities for this
position include the following:
Provide cross-functional leadership to internal
and customer organizations. Internal
organizations include Sales, Pre-Sales, Engineering, and Technical
Support. Customer organizations include
Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, and IT.
Create and maintain detailed project plans and
routinely disseminate to all project stakeholders.
Provide project tracking, control and reporting.
This will include accurate and timely communication of discussions, action
items, issues, item owners, and target delivery dates.
Ensure all aspects of Company's Professional
Services methodology is followed and the necessary customer sign-offs occur at
Demonstrate excellent follow up skills to ensure
that all action items are completed in a timely fashion.
Proactively identify, communicate and manage
issues and risks, notifying and/or escalating to management.
central point of contact and owner for all project activities throughout the
delivery lifecycle, including Pre-Sales engagement, Solution Design, Build phases,
Production Deployment, and Transition to our Support Organization.
Key qualification requirements

Proven leadership skills and experience managing
Experience with proven project methodologies and
Experience with successfully running diverse,
cross-functional project teams in geographically distributed locations
Solid problem solving, decision making and
In-depth understanding of the Project and
Software Development Lifecycle methodology
Knowledge of change control and change
management procedures, and the ability to successfully negotiate execution with
Experience in facilitating large group meetings
and presenting to senior/executive management
Experience in establishing project baselines and
tracking compliance and deviations from established baselines
Experience in building and forming the right
project team resulting in high levels of engagement, performance and collaboration
Solution oriented and ability to overcome
Ability to prioritize tasks and ensure critical
needs are addressed
in technical field or business from a four-year college or university; four
years or more related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of
education and experience
knowledge or ability to acquire such knowledge of Business to Business (B2B)
internet-based data communications products (e.g., B2B Gateway, Managed File
Transfer), EDI Translator products and/or Application to Application (A2A)
experience assisting customers with software implementations
PMP desired, but
Masters degree a
