The successful candidate will report to the NAPO IT SCADA Supervisor. This individual will serve as the Primary LOWIS Coordinator for Marathon and act as the Primary LOWIS Support Contact, the Primary LOWIS Administrator, and the LOWIS Trainer.

The successful candidate will be required to be on-call 7x24 and travel up to 20% of the time throughout North America and potentially to International locations.

Responsibilities:
Support
Manage the design of LOWIS systems, interfaces, and infrastructure
Manage troubleshooting events
Install hardware and software at field sites when required
Provide support for LOWIS end users and internal Marathon IT
Support all LOWIS Application servers in North America
Manage the FCO of any SCADA equipment tied into the LOWIS servers
Manage the installation and testing of communications interfaces to any SCADA equipment tied into the LOWIS servers
Manage the installation and testing of hardware interfaces to LOWIS Servers
Manage the installation and testing of HMI software and interfaces to LOWIS servers, including but not limited to:
PI
TOW
WellView
eVin
WIN911
AutoSol OPC Server
Fisher ROC Protocol
MODBUS Protocol
ABB Totalflow Protocol
Lufkin Well Manager
Epic and Baker (Weatherford) Wellsite Controller
Travel for 1 – 2 week durations several times a year
Be prepared to respond to requests from the 7 x 24 On-Call person
Coordinate Vendor Support for LOWIS issues
Includes raising tickets with vendors
Includes research related to the problem at hand
Administration
Configure and Maintain User Roles and Accounts on LOWIS Servers
Install hotfixes and upgrades to LOWIS servers based in North America
Configure Analogs and Discretes for well reporting
Develop Site Specific reporting and trending enhancements
Create Data Tags to interface LOWIS to PI for historical trending
Monitor Server performance and radio backbone infrastructure reliability
Develop reporting tools and alarm conditions for notification in case of failure
Manage Budget Allocations and Vendor Enhancements Costs
Configure and Maintain connections to TOW, eVin, Wellview, AutoSol, WonderWare and PI servers
Training
Provide end user training to LOWIS users across North America
Accompany Weatherford Training Specialist when they are requested by an Asset
Provide technical training to internal IT for Marathon
SCADA Lab (LOWIS)
Coordinate with the SCADA Architect on systems design issues
Ensure all upgrades, enhancements, new version, etc. are fully tested prior to moving into production
Ensure interoperability testing is performed to the fullest extent possible
Ensure new interfaces and protocols are tested to the fullest extent possible
Coordinate with the Network and Security Specialist for Security related testing

Qualifications:
Education Required: Two-year college degree (Technical Associates Degree). Four-year college degree a plus.

Experience Requirements:
15 plus years in Upstream Oil & Gas
10 plus years in end user support and training
5 plus years of LOWIS systems experience in Upstream Oil & Gas
Measurement and control instrumentation
Industrial Networking (wired and wireless)
Radio communications
Current server and workstation hardware
Current Windows operating systems
Alarm callout systems (WIN911 a plus)
