Job Summary: The ERP Systems Analyst's role is to assist in ensuring the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of information systems that support the organizations Enterprise Resource Planning software (Visual Manufacturing). This is achieved by monitoring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all SQL Servers and associated file servers. This includes troubleshooting applications and software for all internal customers, such as operations, development, and other business units.
The ERP Systems Analyst will apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate, and resolve issues in order to maximize the benefit of IT systems investments. The Job description contains, but is not limited to the following tasks: - Manage Microsoft SQL Server databases including routine maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting. - Support all internal customer issues dealing with the ERP software. - Manage documentation of processes, change
orders, testing and results for ERP systems. Maintain documentation library. - Support and manage additional corporate systems which may or may not be integrated with the ERP system including SharePoint. - Test fixes and perform post-resolution follow-ups to ensure problems have been adequately resolved. - Develop and execute test plans to check infrastructure and systems technical performance. - Liaise with external IT vendor for applications, project implementation, systems enhancement and
maintenance - Design and perform server and security audits, system backup procedures, and other recovery processes in accordance with the company's disaster recovery and business continuity strategies. - Special projects as requested. - Assist in the prioritization, schedule, and administer all instances where enhancements and defect resolution are required. - Communicate application problems and issues to key stakeholders, including management, development teams, end users, and unit

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: - College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science, software engineering or management information systems and/or 2 years related work experience. - SQL Server experience preferred but not required. - Experience in developing Crystal Reports is highly desirable. - Knowledge of current software and network protocols, Internet and network standards - Previous experience of working with some kind of ERP is preferred but not required. - Software
troubleshooting experience. - Solid experience using MS Office - Working knowledge in programming languages, including Visual Basic and VB script desirable. - Experience with Infor Visual Manufacturing would be a plus.
