The Network Analyst II role is responsible for implementing and supporting an Enterprise level network that includes core infrastructure, remote clients and remote campus sites. The ideal candidate will have routing and switching experience along with excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills. Analyst is required to configure and troubleshoot a variety of Cisco platforms including Cisco routers, switches and ASA's. Candidates must also have in-depth knowledge of Wan and LAN topologies as well as IP protocols, IP traffic flow patterns, protocol analysis, and the procedures for capturing and monitoring live traffic streams. Candidates with a working knowledge of Checkpoint Firewalls, IPS/IDS and Proxies are also highly desirable. Candidates must possess excellent communications and written skills and be able to work under pressure in a dynamic and fast moving environment; they will be expected to collaborate with clients and team members to fulfill deliverables.
5 years of hands on experience and knowledge of the functions of the different layers of the OSI networking model; network topology, LAN and WAN hardware and media, IP Addressing and routing protocols.
Experience with routing, switching and security designs for WAN and LAN , advanced troubleshooting techniques with a variety of network sniffers and other network and security monitoring tools. Advanced proficiency with system administration in both UNIX and Windows platforms. Experience supporting and implementing of Firewalls and other Network security appliances is highly desirable.
Ideally a CCNA/CCNP/CCIE or Equivalent experience
