Responsible for teaching two sections of ESL 401 and develop new material and curricula as needed for the on-going work for the International Teaching Assistant’s Oral English Proficiency Certificate Program during the Fall and Spring Terms. Also, update and develop the International Teaching Assistant website. This position reports to the Dean of the Graduate College.
Teach two sections of ESL 401 during the Fall and Spring Terms.
Update and develop the International Teaching Assistant website.
Develop new material and curricula as needed for the on-going work of the ITA Oral Proficiency Certification Process.
Participate in the evaluation process of in-coming International Teaching Assistants.
Perform students’ evaluation using specific criteria.
Evaluate students’ communication skills, weaknesses and strengths and determine if there is need for improvement.
Applicants are required to hold a Bachelor of Arts and a Master's of Art Degree with a focus in Applied Linguistics/TESOL.
